On Assistant Secretary of the Navy letterhead to Lewis Cass Ledyard, Jr. Clipped with 1 p., 4to autograph letter initialed by FDR, addressed, "Dear Cass." * Typed Letter Signed. Albany, December 15, 1932. 1 p., 4to; creases along old folds, to Lewis Cass Ledyard, Esq., thanking him for congratulations [on FDR's election as U.S. president]. Clean dark signatures, crease just below the signature of the December 15, 1932 letter. This signature does not match the stamp used by FDR as governor of N.Y.
