Renaissance Revival carved oak tall case clock case attributed to r.j. horner & co., new york, ny, circa 1895
Works by John Elliott, London, heavily carved and shaped hood with scrolled cresting, gargoyles, leafage and lion heads enclosing brass moon phase dial, the shaped waist carved with griffins and foliage and fitted with an oval glazed door enclosing tubes, the bombe plinth carved with vines enclosing a satyr, all raised on a shaped base and hairy paw feet.
