Chippendale walnut tall case clock works by richard miller (circa 1675-1760), case attributed to john janvier, sr.
(1749-1801), delaware, mid 18th century Double scroll cresting with floral carved cartouche, dentil molding and pierced webwork, blind fretwork band below, arched face door flanked by fluted columnettes with brass capitals and bases, engraved silvered single sheet face, the arched top with "Richard Miller" in a circle, all over scroll engraved face, highlighted in black enamel, black enamel Roman numeral chapter ring, subsidiary seconds ring above post, Arabic numeral outer minute ring, day date window below the post, quarter round fluted corners to the waist and base, rectangular waist door and base with scalloped panel, raised on ogival bracket feet.
