Lot Description
Fine Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted burl walnut, rosewood and kingwood poudreuse paul sormani, circa 1870
The serpentine edged rectangular top centered by a monogram, opening to a cloth-lined interior flanked by two lidded compartments, above a frieze drawer and sliding wool box, raised on slender cabriole legs terminating in sabots. Lockplate signed "Paul Sormani, 10 Rue Charlot, Paris".
