The top section modelled as a reclining classical muse surrounded by putti, stamped on the back 842, the lower section centered by a circular white enamel dial with Roman hour markers and Arabic minutes, signed "Raingo Fres a Paris", the back of the movement stamped with Raingo Freres cachet, within an ornate gilt bronze case composed of rocaille and flowerheads, raised on scroll feet.
