Standard Smith & Wesson markings. Revolver shows nearly full engraving coverage with flowing open Arabesque scrolls along the sides of the barrel, on the frame forward of the cylinder, on the frame behind the recoil shield, an between each cylinder flute. The matching assembly number 8893X is present on the left of the frame under the grip, and on the crane, and the mark F5 is found in both places as well. The matching serial number is found on the butt and in the crane recess of the frame. The ejector rod recess of the frame is marked 6821. The revolver is contained in a wood factory display case with blue flocked fitted plastic interior insert.
