* Auto-Ordnance Thompson Korean War Commemorative
.45 ACP. 18.75" barrel length. SN: KW762. Blued metal finish with gold small parts and mounting polished walnut stocks with a gold Cutts pattern compensator and finned barrel. Semi-automatic simple blowback operated rifle commemorating the Korean War. The left receiver features the standard make and model markings for AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION/WEST HURLEY, NEW YORK, U.S.A. along with the marking ISSUED BY THE/AMERICAN HISTORICAL FOUNDATION/RICHMOND, VIRGINIA. The right receiver is engraved KOREAN WAR COMMEMORATIVE THOMPSON/LEST WE FORGET 23 JUNE 1950-27 JULY 1953. The buttstock and pistol grip likewise have gold medallion inserts commemorating the conflict and those who fought. Item comes with a single twenty-shot magazine and mounts a black leather sling following the 1903 pattern.
