Seated portrait of two women, possibly sisters, both with curled locks hanging down over their shoulders, posed affectionately. One holds a book in her lap. (Significant tarnishing throughout, with scratches and dings also present; resealed.) Housed in a half pressed paper case. -- Seated portrait of a pair of young females, likely sisters, looking at the camera with serious expressions. One holds what appears to be a cased image in her lap. (Significant tarnishing and clouding to image.) Housed in a fully separated pressed paper case (broken in multiple places). -- And 26 others. Some without cases. Some in half cases. Conditions vary. -- Together, 28 sixth plate daguerreotypes of pairs of female sitters.
