15 pinback buttons, approx. 3 1/2 in. diameter and smaller, including: 3 buttons identifying the SNCC by name, highlighted by "One Man, One Vote, SNCC." -- "United We Shall Overcome" button featuring a handshake between a white hand and Black hand. -- "One Man, One Vote, FDP" (Freedom Democratic Party). -- "We Shall Overcome." -- 2 anti-Vietnam War buttons featuring Black and white hands cradling a peace dove. -- Button featuring portrait of Fannie Lou Hamer, African American civil rights activist, cofounder (in 1964), and vice-chairperson of the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party. -- And 5 others.

Together, 15 pinback buttons. Condition generally good, with toning, occasional soiling, wear consistent with age and use.
