Lot Description

George III mahogany, crossbanded and satinwood inlaid tall case clock late 18th/ early 19th century

The arched bonnet with brass ball finials over a glazed door flanked by Doric columns supports, the white painted sheet iron Roman numeral dial with floral spandrels and exotic bird cresting, two winding holes and subsidiary dial; the lower case with an oval classical urn inlay medallion, over a wavy apron raised on splayed feet.

H: 87 1/2, W: 20 1/4, 9 1/4 in.
