Lot Description

**Finnish M39 Mosin-Nagant
World War II

7.62x54mmR. 27" barrel length. SN: 49015. Blued metal finish with polished bolt set in a semi-pistol grip stock with adjustable rear ladder and front blade sight with protectors. Bolt-action repeating rifle fed by an internal box magazine and featuring an octagonal receiver. Receiver is marked with SA within a box, indicating Finnish service. A B marking on the barrel indicates this component was manufactured in Belgium for Finland, and a date mark near the edge of the receiver reads 1942. The stock features front and rear sling swivels on the toe and underside of the barrel band, and further sling loops in the left butt and left handguard. Stock is spliced forward of the finger grooves with a reinforcing oval typical of the M39 pattern. The toe of the buttstock has been spliced. Item mounts an unmarked leather sling and comes with the cleaning rod. Importer mark to the right barrel reads M39 FINLAND 762X54R/CAI ST. ALB VT. Serial numbers match on the barrel, receiver, and bolt handle.
