Nambu Type 14 in Holster
World War II
8x22mm Nambu. 4.61" barrel length. SN: 34072. Rough blued wartime finish mounting horizontally serrated wood grips with a polished bolt. Short-recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single-stack magazines. The right frame arsenal and series marks indicate it was made by Toriimatsu branch of Nagoya Arsenal as part of the Second Series with the date mark reading 19.4 indicating it was made in April, 1944. Standard type markings on the left frame exhibit the sharp corners typical of Toriimatsu pistols. Serial numbers match on all components except for the magazine, which is numbered 587. Pistol comes in a leather clamshell holster with the cleaning tool.
