Lot Description

*Walther ac45-code P.38 with Replaced Grips and Cut Down Barrel
World War II

9mm Para. 4.25" barrel length. SN: 8480e. Blued metal finish with boxed checkered walnut grips and mounting dovetailed front blade and rear notch sights. Short-recoil operated DA/SA autoloading pistol fed by detachable single-stack eight-shot magazines. The slide is marked ac 45, indicating it was manufactured by Walther in 1945, with the rough machine marks typical of P.38 pistols made by the end of World War II. The serial numbers to the major components are non matching. Slide displays a P.38 model marking, and {Eagle/359} Waffenampt marking. The frame displays the same marking. Barrel is cyq code marked, and has been cut down and the sight and collar moved back. Grips are non factory, and are bare wood without factory markings. Comes with one blued P.38 marked magazine.
