**Remington U.S. Model 1903
World War II
.30-06. 24" barrel. SN: 3294221. Parkerized finish, blued bolt and sight protector, straight grip S-stock without reinforcement bolts or grasping grooves. Bolt action, stripper clip fed, fixed magazine battle rifle with adjustable leaf rear sight and fixed front sight blade, sling and stacking swivels. Chamber with standard Remington markings and serial number, Remington barrel dated 11-42. Counterpane with weak boxed FJA (Frank J Atwood) cartouche, as well as weak C-SAA San Antonio Arsenal rebuild mark. Both the original and rebuilt "P" proofs, one in a circle and one boxed, are present behind the triggerguard along with a 6.
