A Chinese Pink Ground Quilted and Embroidered Silk Lady's Coat
19th Century
清晚期 白緞地絎縫蕾絲瓖滾女棉服
tailored of a pale pink satin woven with floral designs and lined in blue sandwiching cotton batting and vertically quilted, the wide cuffs worked in embroidered blue silk, and trimmed at the collar, side opening, hem, and ruyi-shaped side vents with blue and cream embroidered ribbons and black lace.
