A Chinese Hardstone Inset Silver Mounted Huanghuali Hinged Box
Late Qing Dynasty
清晚期 黃花梨嵌寳拜匣
of rectangular form, the corners, top and lower edges of the box and cover each mounted with hardstone-inset silver bands chased with auspicious symbols. The back mounted with a simple hinge opposite the central front lockplate.
