A Liverpool Transfer-Printed Creamware Pitcher with Apollo and Diana
English, Late 18th/19th Century
one side with Apollo as the Sun God in his chariot, surrounded by the signs of the zodiac; the opposite shows Diana as the Moon Goddess in a chariot pulled by deer with putti.
Height 9 1/2 inches.
