one side with Founding Fathers holding a Liberty cap and text reading, Union to the People of America / Civil and Religious / Liberty / To All Mankind; the opposite transfer scene of Jack and Polly, popular characters featured in the music and poetry of Charles Dibdin (British, circa 1745-1814).
Allegory of Moderation transfer beneath the spout.
