Large and impressive Christofle silver plate centerpiece late 19th century
The silver gilt bowl with scrolling decoration on a columnar support surrounded by four classical maidens and flanked by infants seated by smaller basins, raised on a shaped base cast with ribbon-tied garlands, floral bouquets and leafy scrolling supports; stamped CHRISTOFLE, with an applied plaque inscribed Sheffield EP/ Notre Dame Hotel, Paris.
