Very fine Chinese white jade gourd form covered vase 19th century
Of tall balanced gourd form, the cover is carved in open work to show two curious monkeys surmounting a gourd branch, over a well hollowed gourd base carved in open work, high and low relief to show a profusion of gourd veins continuing to the underside, minor brown russet inclusions.
