Massive Japanese Imari charger red inscription, 19th century
Of slightly rounded form, painted with a blue and white geometric rim, the interior painted to show fans of butterflies, ho-o birds and panels of songbirds over reeds, a central medallion is painted to show three leaves on a red ground, repaired.
