Lot Description

Large Chinese Wucai beaker vase transitional/early kangxi period

The flared mouth leads to a tapering neck painted to show blue rock work and red and blue chrysanthemums over a scale-like red ground, the bulbous center shows yellow and red pomegranates over square patterned ground, the outswept base is painted to show a broad leaf border on a cross hatched and flower red ground, repainted interior.

H: 15 1/2 in.
