FIRST EDITION, LIMITED ISSUE, number 70 of 100 copies SIGNED BY RUSHDIE on the half-title and in a deluxe morocco binding. The Ground Beneath her Feet is a variation on the Orpheus/Eurydice myth, with rock music replacing Orpheus’s lyre. It has been adapted into a major performance work combining music, composed by Victoria Borisova-Ollas, and film, directed by Mike Figgis.
