35 sixth plate daguerreotypes featuring women of varying ages.

Portrait of a woman with somewhat sunken eyes, wearing  dress with ornamental tassels extending in a vertical line down the front. (Minor imperfections including light spotting; resealed.) Housed under mat, glass, and preserver only, no case. -- Portrait of a young woman seated at a table, wearing a bejeweled or beaded purse on her wrist. (Tarnishing to edges, spotting throughout, residue and light weeping; original seals.) Housed in a half pressed paper case (surface wear). -- Portrait of a middle-aged woman wearing a bonnet and dark clothing, identified by affixed paper inscribed "Mrs. J. F. Rodgers / Taken in Boston about 1844." (Some tarnishing along edge, significant spotting/staining, light weeping; resealed.)
