SHERMAN, William Tecumseh (1820-1891). A group of 3 items, including 2 CDVs and an autograph endorsement signed ("W.T. Sherman"), as Major General. Memphis, TN, 25 November 1862.
1 page, 7 7/8 x 6 1/4 in., fold lines, trimmed/torn along bottom edge. Sherman writes, "Mr. E.E. Clark of Memphis has been of service to the United States and is entitled to favor at the hand of [its? C?] & officers." Signed by Sherman as "Maj. Gen. Comd."
