[GARDNER, Alexander (1821-1882), photographer]. CDV, portrait of Abraham Lincoln seated in a studio with an inkwell resting on the table beside him. New York: E. Anthony, Brady Gallery (rich tonality, light edge wear). Originally taken by Alexander Gardner in Washington, DC on 24 February 1861 [Ostendorf, O-49]. 

[With:] [BERGER, Anthony, photographer]. CDV, variant of the portrait taken at Brady's Gallery, Washington, DC, 9 February 1864 [Ostendorf, O-91]. Washington, DC and New York: Brady & Co., 1864 (fading, light soiling to print and mount).
