A Chinese Celadon Jade Seal
19th Century
清 “鑒古堂”青玉印
of oval section, surmounted with a crouching chilong carved in openwork. The chilong is portrayed standing on foursquare with its body turned to one side. The seal face carved with four characters. Jiangu tang. The stone of even white tone with an area of russet skin.
Length 1.5 in., 3.8 cm.
