FIRST LONDON EDITION.  Charles Tollemach Scott, likely a soldier and hunter who spent time on the plains, annotates the title-page memorializing his receipt of the card inscribed by Buffalo Bill: "This card given me by 'Bill' when I took my daughter to see him at Olympia. the last time he was over, he said 'I must come out & stay with me & see my 'whitefaces' (Hereford Cattle) & I would if he had not died soon after. C. T. S."  Scott annotates 4 pages with his notes about his experiences on the plains.  Buffalo Bill's signature is accomplished on the business card of L. E.
