Lot 309
Lot Description
After four decades at Chanel, Lagerfeld earned a legacy as a creative force that reinvigorated the heritage label, infusing it with postmodern playfulness while honoring its roots. Equally versed in the languages of popular culture and the craft and traditions of couture, a combination described as ‘high fashion and high camp’, Lagerfeld’s reinvention of the brand and marketing savvy created a voracious appetite among young buyers, sealing the fate of the iconic double CC logo into this century’s visual lexicon.
Sleeveless black and white fancy-weave vest with a fold down collar and four patch pockets. There is an interior "vest" created with long panels of black silk satin that are tied at the center front with a bow. This black silk is visible across the back of the vest and "blouses" at the back. The vest retain the retain label listing the price at $1500.00.
