Kellogg, 1857. 55 1/2 x 61 inches; 1410 x 1549 mm. Contemp. linen backing with pictorial zoological borders & illustrations in the body of the chart. Generally clean, occasional discoloration.
The Animal Kingdom organized & richly illustrated from Phyla to Species in dynamic branching & flowing current. Executed by an American woman & published two years before Darwin's On the Origin of Species.
Only one copy of this chart is recorded by NUC (0107259). In 1858 Kellogg published Zoological Science as a companion volume to this chart. See NUC 0107260.
