A FINE CHINESE EXPORT SILVER THREE PIECE TEA SET

Marks of Lynchong

Comprising a teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, each with an oblong rectangular body half lobed below a concave neck engraved with a Greek key band, the flaring rim with a chased tongue border, the teapot with a carved horn handle and lobed wood finial over a hinged domed lid, the sugar bowl with a floral chased swing handle. All with initial P on both sides of body. Each marked under base with maker's mark and associated pseudo-hallmarks. H. of teapot: 7-1/2 in.; total wt.: 67 oz.
