A VICTORIAN SILVER TWO HANDLED TRAY

Martin & Hall, Sheffield 1894

Rectangular with cut corners, the pierced and leafage-chased wavy border with a beaded rim enclosing an engraved center with diamond and flower head bands with stylized foliate corners, all around three shaded interlocked initials, each side set with a cast and chased bracketed handle, all on four compressed ball feet. Marked under base. Minor scratches, very light wear to engraving. L. across handles: 23-3/4 in.; wt.: 94 oz.
