TWO PAIRS OF ENGLISH SILVER OPEN SALT CELLARS
London
Both pairs of compressed circular form, the first pair, London 1751, maker's mark rubbed, with feathered rims over floral swag-chased bodies and three cast scroll legs below female masks and on shell feet, the second pair, crested, London 1859, maker's mark A S, with plain bodies below molded rims and on three scrolled feathered legs with pad feet. Wear to decoration and later crest on sides of first pair, all with minor dents.
