A Carved Wood Figure of Guanyin
Late 19th/early 20th Century
晚清-民國 木雕觀音坐像
carved seated with both hands resting at the knee, wearing a loosely draped shawl and scarves over the shoulder, arms, and around the torso. The face is carved with heavy-lidded eyes and a gentle expression below the hair set in a tall chignon behind a high headdress.
