Pierre Cardin Leather Bag, 1960s
This piece was once owned by Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo, the granddaughter of a prominent Argentinian family that hosted royalty in their Buenos Aires home, the Palacio Ortiz Basualdo. Erna de Paz Ortiz Basualdo was likewise known for her style, in fashion and at home, and was an ongoing client of Pierre Cardin’s.
This lot contains one bag.
Very dark brown leather shoulder bag with front flap decorated with Pierre Cardin's initals. The leather strap is secured to the bag with goldtone bars at the top.
