16 Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Vessels
20th Century
comprising a gourd-form vase, four covered jars, and one baluster vase worked with radiant lotus heads and scrolls, and one covered jar with a millefleur pattern, two pairs of baluster vases, each decorated with a network of blossoming branches, two 'millefleur' articles, one saucer, and one vase, and one small bowl; a lobed vases, divided between an upper registers of repeated lozenges formed from gilt wires and a lower register of flying cranes by a lotus band. The second a large bowl with a flaring mouth rim, decorated against the cloud-strewn ground with writhing dragons.
