Lot Description

[POLITICS]. A collection of over 150 political campaign 

buttons, pinbacks, and souvenirs, incl. examples promoting Eisenhower, Nixon, Johnson, Humphrey, Goldwater, Reagan, and Clinton. 

[With:] "Homecoming Flight" menu signed by Dwight & Mamie Doud Eisenhower. 

Extensive collection of more than 150 political campaign pinbacks and buttons. Earliest campains appear to be Taft and Roosevelt examples. Includes presidential campaigns, other political races, and causes.  Presidential campaigns include: Wendell Willkie -- Dwight Eisenhower -- Hubert Humphrey -- Barry Goldwater -- Lyndon B. Johnson -- Gerald Ford -- George McGovern -- Ronald Reagan -- -- Richard Nixon -- Jimmy Carter -- Clinton and Gore. 

[With:] EISENHOWER, Dwight D. (1890-1969). "Homecoming Flight of 'Mister' Dwight D. Eisenhower" TWA Skyliner menu, interior signed ("Dwight D. Eisenhower"). Washington, DC to Abilene, Kansas, 3 June 1952. 4 1/2 x 6 in. souvenir menu (some edge and corner wear, signatures very good). Interior also signed by Mamie Doud Eisenhower, Milton Eisenhower, Helen Eisenhower, US Senator and Kansas Governor Frank Carlson, and others. 

[Also with:] NIXON, Thelma Catherine "Pat" (1912-1993). "The White House, Washington" card signed ("Pat Nixon"). 2 1/2 x 3 3/4 in. printed card (signature very good). Framed together with 6 x 8 in. engraving of the White House, produced by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
