Lot Description
[LINCOLN, Abraham (1809-1865)]. A group of 3 CDVs of John Wilkes Booth, comprising:
2 1/4 x 3 1/2 in., or smaller, CDVs on cardstock mounts (each with some fading, light soiling; mounts with edge and corner wear).
Portraits include: The "Wanted" poster portrait of Booth, approx. 1 x 1 1/4 in. (sight), under paper mat, uncredited. Provenance: Keesler/Dow Collection (consignor's modern typed label). -- 2 seated portraits of Booth, one with "Joseph Ward" ink stamp to verso, the other carte uncredited.
