Lot Description
[PHOTOGRAPHY]. A group of 2 works and 2 albums containing miscellaneous photography, including:
8 1/2 x 10 5/8 in. red velvet album with metal clasp and bust of a classical soldier to front board (minor wear at extremities, slightly leaned). Housing 25 cabinet cards, 6 tintypes, and 6 CDVs.
[With:] 8 1/2 x 10 3/4 in. white lacquered paper album with metal clasp (clasp loose, some wear to edges, light soil). Housing 15 cabinet photographs, 10 CDVs, and 4 real photo postcards.
[With:] SHEAR, G. Willard, photographer. Panorama of the Hudson Showing Both Sides of the River from New York to Albany. New York: Bryant Literary Union, 1888. Oblong 8vo. Series of panoramic photographic illustrations. Recased it modern brown cloth with original gilt-lettered cardstock wrappers laid down (creases, scuffing).
