CODY, William F. "Buffalo Bill" (1846-1917). Postcard twice signed by Cody.
4 x 5 in. lithographed postcard (light soil and toning to verso, slight crease at one corner).
"Welcome! To Cody Wyoming the Home of 'Buffalo Bill' and the Scenic Extrance to Yellowstone Park." Card features a standing Cody near the city of Cody, Wyoming, and at the junction of Yellowstone National Park below which appears the inked signature "W.F. Cody / 'Buffalo Bill' / 1916." Verso with short note to "Brother Elks" which reads ""Hughes can't ride Woodrow he is pulling leather already and will be disqualified. Bill."
