BROWNELL, Charles de Wolf (1822-1909). The Indian Races of North and South America. New York; The American Subscription House, 1856. 8vo. Plates, most hand-colored. (Toning, occasional spotting.) Contemporary embossed leather with rebacked black calf spine (scuffing to extremities).

[With:] [GOODRICH, Samuel Griswold (1793-1860, “Peter Parley”)]. The Manners, Customs, and Antiquities of the Indians of North and South America. Boston: Bradbury, Soden and Co., 1844. 12mo. Engraved frontispiece and title, in-text engravings throughout. (Toning at page edges, occasional spotting.) Original brown cloth (recased, original cloth laid down, some staining). FIRST EDITION. Sabin 28909.
