The Century of Progress was a World's Fair held in Chicago in 1933 & 1934 focusing on technological, scientific, and industrial innovation. In contrast to the Columbian Fair's White City, this Exposition hosted a multi-colored "Rainbow City." Seen here on the shore of Lake Michigan are the fairgrounds with buildings and landmarks labeled.
