[POLITICS]. Ulysses S. Grant and Schuyler Colfax back-to-back campaign ferrotype badge. 1868.
27 mm diam. gilt brass frame featuring 20 mm diam. ferrotypes of Grant and Colfax on the obverse and reverse, respectively (few minor scratches to each side, tarnish and surface wear to frame). Obverse with legend "Our Choice for President," reverse with legend, "For Vice President." Frame with hole at top for suspension (partially going through the "O" in "for").
