A 1978 Orange Bowl Hall of Honor Award Presented to Hall of Fame Oklahoma Football Coach Bud Wilkinson
Among his many legendary achievements, Bud Wilkinson led the Oklahoma Sooners to five trips to the Orange Bowl, winning four times. In 1978, Wilkinson was recognized with a place in the Orange Bowl Hall of Honor. Wilkinson received this ceremonial award and it remained with him for the rest of his life.
