Inauguration 1937 / Washington, D.C. Franklin D. Roosevelt. Length without tassels 27 1/2 in., at widest 10 in., longest tassel length 4 in. printed felt pennant. With a portrait of Roosevelt flanked by American flags and an eagle.
[With:] Invitation to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jonas for an afternoon reception on Inauguration Day (20 January 1937), with presentation ticket. Washington, D.C., 6 January 1937. 5 x 4 in. engraved invitation with gilt presidential coat of arms, with stamped and postmarked envelope. -- Inauguration Ceremonies ticket for the Inaugural Platform. 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 in. ticket with typed note, "Reserved - Guest of President." With original envelope and pink "Better Seat" ticket. -- Inauguration of the President and Vice President of the United States. 4 5/8 x 2 1/2 in. ticket (stub removed). Printed in color, verso with portraits and industrial vignettes. -- Together, 7 items of printed ephemera.
