Set in June 1939 at Pointz Hall, home of the Olivers, and a neighboring village, Between the Acts focuses on the preparations for a community pageant. Woolf decided to publish the novel days before her death, but hadn’t yet corrected the typescript; critics consider the work to be unfinished. Kirkpatrick A26a.
