Overall fine and stable condition. The center back leg (with an old glue repair) recently detached and needing repair. The canape can be comfortably sat upon and support weight even with the detached leg. The frame with scattered nicks, chips and losses to its painted and gilt decoration, with underlying boll or gesso visible in several areas. The upholstery is slightly faded but relatively clean and intact. The cushion stuffing is lofty.
