refinished, and with a crackled varnish to surface; interior has been stained; a couple foot facings with repaired breaks, and the feet / base molding with some scuffs and scrapes commensurate with age, the front right-facing foot with a chipped loss to corner; each drawer facing with patches or mends to corners or edges, some drawers with replaced wood segments running entirety of edge; brasses are replaced, with plugged or filled former holes; a small mend to carving to upper center drawer; a patch to molding along left-facing side of top, and the cornice molding with a few mends; a couple mends to shell upright, and one finial with repaired break, the finials are finely carved; right-facing volute with old loss; blocking to underside of feet appears old, with a few secured elements; drawers glide easily
