stable and sturdy; the drawers glide easily; the upper right-facing side molding to cornice has been reattached, with a slight shim beneath for added stability; some drawer faces with typical mends to edges and corners; the 2nd from bottom-most drawer with square loss to facing along upper left-facing corner and a small loss to upper right-facing corner; the foot facings each with repaired breaks, the back left-facing foot facing with glue visible to repair; the front two feet with later support blocks; brasses appear to be original, with no additional screw holes present; third drawer from bottom missing lock, and at least one other drawer with probable replaced lock; with a few minor age cracks or scuffs commensurate with age and use; does not include key; left-facing finial upright missing its cap
