Note:
Mary Russell (1727-1803), born in New Castle, Delaware, was the daughter of Edward Russell (1689-1775) and Dinah Coebourn (1701-?). She married Adam Grubb on November 25, 1753 in Swedes Church in Wilmington. She died in Chester, Delaware County. This tankard was evidently a gift given to her father.
